Waiver and Assumption of Risk

I acknowledge and agree that in consideration of being permitted to participate in activities of the Quinte Rowing Club, to release the Quinte Rowing Club, the City of Belleville, their agents, servants, volunteers, directors and employees from any claims of any kind and represent that:

I have the ability to swim.

I agree to comply with rules and regulations, instructions and safety protocols concerning the Quinte Rowing Club.

I am aware that certain risks exist in the performance activities and programs of the Quinte Rowing Club among other things. These risks include being outside during adverse weather, exposure to the elements, capsizing in cold water, collisions with other vessels, injuries in the gym, slipping on the dock, injuries from lifting, and drowning. Such risks as well as unexpected and unforeseen events or conditions could lead to physical injury or death. I voluntarily participate in these programs and utilize various Quinte Rowing Club facilities and equipment and recognize that risks also exist associated with travel to competitions, such as rowing and ergometer regattas and with the knowledge of dangers and responsibilities involved I do accept any and all risks of injury or death, and I release the Quinte Rowing Club and the City of Belleville, and their agents, servants, volunteers, directors and employees from all liability relating thereto.
